Smart Asset Capture System is a System Information tool that gathers detailed information about System properties and settings. A utility that Captures detailed Windows based personal computers software and hardware information like Operating System, Processors, Hard Disk, RAM, System drives, I/O Devices, Monitor, Printer, File system, Windows Services, Shared folders, Registry settings, Networking, LAN card, System Users, and Ports Information.
SmartAsset Capture System displays information about Installed Programs, Processes, Services, System uptime, Product Key (CD key), Users, Serial Numbers, Open Files, Network, Users, Network Shares, Task Manager Information and more, as well as real-time monitors for Memory, Page File usage and network traffic.
The Smart Asset Capture stores all system information in Extended Markup Language (XML) format. The XML file is transformation to XSLT style sheet, which enables the data content to be viewed as a web page by using Browser control. Means all the system information we can see in a HTML Page.
The SmartAsset Capture can export captured data directly to a MS SQL 2005 Database. Just enter the SQL Server name, Database name, User name and Password. Then click the Export button. If this is the first export, you will be prompted to create a table in the database based on the system components name and inserts the data into the database then showing the table names information to the user. Next time directly inserts the data into the database.
The Smart Asset Capture audits the system configuration and providing warning flags and suggestions regarding the configuration of the system in the HTML Page. The Smart Asset Capture System has search facility; you can search file or folder using Search File option. Temporary Internet file and Garbage Files can be deleted from the application. It is using all features of the Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI) and Dot net Framework 2.0 features.
